- IP Blocking: Allow or deny access based on:
- Specific IP addresses
- CIDR blocks
- IP ranges
This enables entire networks to be whitelisted or blocked in a single step—ideal for high-value productions or restricted events.
- Geo-blocking by Country: Control regional access with precision. Geo-blocking helps reduce bot traffic, avoid overloads, and block potential breaches—proactive protection uncommon in most video platforms.
Clearer Communication for Hybrid Teams
To support secure, moderated, and efficient communications, Liveo 0.9 introduces enhancements designed for live broadcasts, confidential reviews, and private team sessions.
- Private Feedback Chat: Spectators can now send messages visible only to admins and broadcasters. Perfect for moderated Q&A, internal notes, or sensitive feedback.
- Message Editing & Deletion: Broadcasters and admins can now edit or remove messages in real time, helping maintain tone, correct errors, or remove unintended content.
- Direct Messaging: Participants can now send private messages to specific individuals without disrupting the main chat, enabling seamless side conversations.
Coming Soon: Real-Time Watermarking for Content Protection
Our next release will introduce real-time watermarking—an embedded identifier that links content to specific participants or sessions. This feature enhances security by deterring unauthorized sharing and helping trace leaks back to their source, offering greater accountability during high-stakes productions, private reviews, and executive briefings.
